If you’ve been patiently awaiting news on Bayonetta 3, it seems we can at least expect to hear about it this year! Yes, I know I’m setting the bar low with that one, but it’s better than not hearing about it at all.
In an interview with VGC, PlatinumGames own Hideki Kamiya, and Atsushi Inaba discussed many of their upcoming projects and gave one little hint about Bayonetta 3.
When asked about Bayonetta 3 and Kamiya’s recent comments about fans getting an update at some point this year, he was very coy.
“It’s not really our position to say, but… it’s January. We’ve got to have something come out, right? I guess it’s safe to expect that something will come out. There’s still a lot of the year left is what I’m saying.”
He continued to laugh about the matter and Kamiya said he understands that news about Bayonetta 3 is driving the fans crazy.
“In light of that, my suggestion would be that maybe we should all reset and forget about Bayonetta 3. Then when something finally does happen, it will be a nice surprise, won’t it?”
It certainly would be a pleasant surprise to get some Bayonetta 3 news soon. But I’ll also guarantee I won’t be forgetting about Bayonetta anytime soon.
