It was rumoured to have leaked, and we now know that Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is a real game, and it’s releasing on October 31.
This remaster will feature over 10 hours of re-recorded audio, mocap, and a bunch of graphical improvements, with the aim of bringing its visual fidelity in line with that of the sequel, Horizon Fordbieen West. The game’s audio is also being enhanced with support for PS5 Temest 3D Audio and Dolby Atmos.
Owners of the upcoming PS5 Pro will also be able to take advantage of native support for the console, and PC players will be able to use ultra-wide support, NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3.1 and more.
The remaster of the 2017 game will arrive on PlayStation 5 and PC, and your save file will carry over to the remaster; you can upgrade your base copy or Complete Edition on PS4/PC to Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered for $9.99 USD.
