PlayStation Adds ‘Showcase Mode’ to Welcome Hub in New Update

PlayStation has released a new update this week that adds, what they’ve titled, ‘Showcase Mode’ to the Welcome Hub. It’s an optional feature that displays the background in full view after you’ve left your PlayStation idle on the home screen for a set period.

Over time, it seems more of these will be added, and it’s a nice touch to have the image go full screen and serve as a nice screen saver for your TV when you stop to make food or something.

There’s also an option now to enable a ‘Slideshow Mode’ that will rotate through your favourite game screenshots stored on the console.
