Imprint Television has announced that two classic Supermarionation series are joining its television release collection this August.

Joe 90: The Complete Series and Fireball XL5: The Complete Series will receive Limited Edition Blu-ray Hardboxes, each with a hardcover booklet and packed with special features.

Fireball XL5: The Complete Series (1962)

Before Thunderbirds, Stingray, and Captain Scarlet, Gerry and Sylvia Anderson introduced audiences to Fireball XL5.

Created at the height of the Space Race, the series follows Colonel Steve Zodiac and the crew of the World Space Patrol’s spacecraft as they patrol the far reaches of Sector 25 in the year 2062.

Throughout the series, the crew encounters alien invasions, foils interplanetary threats, and embarks on daring adventures across the galaxy in one of Supermarionation’s earliest and most influential productions.

Imprint Television’s release presents The Complete Series in a Limited Edition Blu-ray Hardbox, accompanied by an exclusive Hardcover Booklet and a wealth of special features.

Joe 90: The Complete Series (1968)

Also joining the Imprint Television lineup is Joe 90, the final Gerry and Sylvia Anderson series produced entirely using the iconic Supermarionation technique.

The series follows Joe McClaine, an ordinary nine-year-old schoolboy who becomes one of the world’s most extraordinary secret agents after a revolutionary machine allows him to temporarily absorb the knowledge and skills of experts.

Whether learning from fighter pilots, surgeons, safe-crackers, or nuclear scientists, Joe travels the globe completing dangerous missions as WIN’s Most Special Agent.

Joe 90: The Complete Series arrives in a Limited Edition Blu-ray Hardbox, complete with a Hardcover Booklet and extensive special features.

Both Joe 90: The Complete Series and Fireball XL5: The Complete Series are strictly limited to 1,500 copies each, with pre-orders opening on Wednesday, July 15.
