Jumanji: Open World Trailer Brings The Game Into The Real World
Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for Jumanji: Open World, the third and final entry in the modern Jumanji trilogy
Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for the third and final film in the new Jumanji trilogy, titled Jumanji: Open World.
This entry is changing things up as the characters aren’t being pulled into the world of the Jumanji game, like they were in the past two movies; in this one, they’ll have the world of Jumanji escaping into the real world, which is to say things are coming full circle to the original Robin Williams film because of this.
Check out the first trailer for Jumanji: Open World below.
This Boxing Day, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan are reunited in Jumanji: Open World, the hilarious final instalment of the globally beloved action-adventure trilogy. Our heroes have escaped the perilous jungles of Jumanji before, but this time Jumanji breaks free of its console, unleashing its chaos into our world.
The film reunites Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan, alongside returning cast members Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Morgan Turner, and Ser’Darius Blain. Rhys Darby, Nick Jonas, and Danny DeVito also return.
Director Jake Kasdan is back behind the camera after helming both Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Jumanji: The Next Level.
Jumanji: Open World releases in Australian cinemas on Boxing Day, December 26, 2026.
