In a surprise twist Keanu Reeves has been revealed to be in Cyberpunk 2077.

The actor of The Matrix and John Wick fame took to the stage following the latest Cyberpunk 2077 trailer at the Xbox Conference at E3. After some hollering from the audience he managed to reveal that Cyberpunk 2077 will be releasing on April 16th – for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Reeves’ character is Johnny Silverhand, a prominent character within the Cyberpunk role-playing game for which the game is based upon. Johnny Silverhand was a famous rocker from the band ‘Samurai’ but died, in the game’s lore, back in 2024. This leads much up for debate as to how his character is around kicking in 2077, many years latter.

With a game so full of ways to possibly bring back someone through the means of A.I, it wouldn’t be hard for Cyberpunk 2077 to explain how a prominent character like Johnny Silverhand returns for the video game.

Press at E3 2019 will be getting to see a behind closed doors demo for Cyberpunk 2077 and developer CD Projekt RED will be showing the game on the show floor, so expect more news out of E3.
