Konami has announced that Bloober Team, the developers behind the Silent Hill 2 remake, are working on a remake of the first game, Silent Hill.

The news was announced as part of Konami’s ‘Press Start’ event overnight.

Silent Hill was originally released in 1999 for the PS1. The game follows Harry Mason as he searches the town of Silent Hill for his missing adopted daughter. This game was also the basis for the 2006 Silent Hill film.
