Lenovo has expanded its partnership with the Esports Foundation, becoming a Global Founding Partner of the Esports World Cup 2026.

The Esports World Cup heads to Paris for the first time next year, running from July 6 to August 23, 2026, with more than 2,000 players, 200 esports clubs and competitors from over 100 countries set to compete across 24 games and 25 tournaments for a prize pool exceeding US$75 million.

As part of the partnership, Lenovo Legion Tower 7i and Legion Tower 5i desktop PCs will be used throughout the tournament, alongside Legion gaming monitors across the competition stages. Lenovo hardware will also power broadcast studios, player training facilities and fan experience areas.

The partnership also allows attendees to try Lenovo’s Legion Pro Rollable Concept, first shown at CES 2026.

Lenovo will also host dedicated Legion festival zones where attendees can try the latest gaming hardware, take part in on-site challenges to win Legion products and watch content featuring players, setups and behind-the-scenes coverage throughout the tournament.

Mohammed Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer of the Esports Foundation, said the technology powering the event is just as important as the competition itself.

“Across seven weeks, thousands of matches, broadcast hours, and player setups, the technology behind the competition matters just as much as what happens on stage, and we are grateful to Lenovo for bringing its cutting-edge systems that will make our event possible.”
