Little Reaper, Cute Platformer From Melbourne Based Developer Is Releasing Next Week

Melbourne based developer Little Reaper Games has announced their first game, Little Reaper, will be releasing on PC on July 20th.

I played the game back at PAX 2018 and was impressed with what I got to check out at the time:

“Little Reaper from developer Little Reaper Games reminded me quickly of the Genesis/PS1 era of Disney side-scrolling games with its visuals and level design. Which made more sense when Cherie from the Explosion Network later told me that someone from Little Reaper Games she had been talking to had told her Disney games had been one of the inspirations.”

Ollie has been left in charge of Death’s Mansion while Grim has gone on a well-deserved holiday. Unfortunately, clumsy Ollie accidentally shatters a jar containing a vast, and important, collection of souls. Little Reaper is releasing on PC via Steam on July 20th. I asked Adam Robertson, Managing Director at Little Reaper Games if they have plans to release the game on other platforms and he said they’d explore options if the game is received well on PC— but the Nintendo Switch would be their first option.
