A new season of Marvel Snap titled ‘Into the Quantum Realm has begun, and this one is centred around the upcoming release of Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania

The new season adds four new characters/cards, four new locations and several new variants.

New Cards

M.O.D.O.K (Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing) is the star card of the new Season Pass, and you will unlock M.O.D.O.K at level 1 as soon as you purchase the Season Pass. M.O.D.O.K cost five energy has eight power, and has the ability “On Reveal: Discard your hand.”

There is, of course, a variant to be unlocked at level 50 of the rewards as well. Other rewards in the Season Pass include variants for Ant-Man, Wasp, avatars and two different card backs.

But more cards are being added this season to be excited about than just M.O.D.O.K.

Ghost costs one energy with two power and enters with the ability “Ongoing: Your cards are always revealed last. (Their On Reveal abilities happen last.”

Stature costs five energy and has seven power, and she has the ability “costs 1 if your opponent discarded a card from their hand this game.”

And most interesting, there is Kang The Conqueror, who has a rather insane ability. He costs five energy and has zero power, but says, “On Reveal: Look at what your opponent did, then restart the turn. (without Kang)”

These cards will start appearing in Collector’s Reserves and the token shop on the date below:

  • February 14th: Ghost – Series 5 Release

  • February 21st: Stature – Series 5 Releas

  • February 28th: Kang – Series 5 Release

Twenty new variants will be added to the game this month, also from artists such as Peach MomokoDan Hipp, and Kim Jacinto

New Locations

There are four new locations being added this season, and they are:

  • Camp Lehigh: Add a random 3-Cost card to each player’s hand.

  • Quantum Tunnel: When you play a card here, swap it with a card in your deck.

  • Quantum Realm: When you play a card here, set its base Power to 2.

  • The Sacred Timeline: First to fill this gets a copy of their opening hand.

Have you got your M.O.D.O.K. deck list ready? Let me know if you’re going to be discarding your whole hand in the comments section below.
