This morning Insomniac Games showed off some new footage of the remastered version of Marvel’s Spider-Man that is coming to PS5.

In a blog post Community Director at Insomniac, James Stevenson detailed the graphical and gameplay improvements that the remastered edition of the game is bringing to the table. This includes ray-traced reflection and lighting which looks stunning and updated and newly created textures.

The biggest addition was a brand new module for Peter Parker. Stevenson explained the decision to recast the face-model used for Peter Parker was so that the team could get a better face-match to Yuri Lowenthal who does the facial capture and performance work for Parker.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will also offer a 60fps frame rate in a Performance Mode and you can check out gameplay of that below.
