Thunderbolts* is finally making its debut on Disney+ next week.
One of the best reviewed Marvel entries in recent years, Thunderbolts* didn’t rush from cinemas to Disney+, which was a sign of its quality. The film, as of writing, has an 88% score on Rotten Tomatoes from critics.
You will be able to watch Thunderbolts* on Disney+ from August 27.
Suppose you’ve somehow managed to avoid spoilers as to what the astrix means in the title — well done. But beware the new poster and trailer below, which not only spoil the surprise but also appear to have been edited to remove weapons from the cast and a character from the bottom right-hand side of the screen.
Marvel Studios assembles an unconventional team of antiheroes with Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster and John Walker. After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission. Forced to confront the darkest corners of their pasts, will this dysfunctional group tear themselves apart, or find redemption and unite before it’s too late?
