Motorola has announced the launch of the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion in Australia, arriving on May 22 for $699 AUD. Following strong overseas interest, this marks the first of the Edge 60 family to officially launch in Australia.

Motorola is positioning the Edge 60 Fusion as a “lifestyle tech brand” device, focusing on stunning design, incredible cameras, and advanced Moto AI. The phone sports a vegan leather finish and comes in three Pantone-curated colours:

  • Amazonite (green)
  • Zephyr (pink)
  • Slipstream (blue)

The phone is just 8.2mm thin, weighs 180 grams, and is described as “almost bezelless.” It also features some very high specs, especially for the price tag.

The Motorola Edge Fusion 60 camera system features the world’s first Sony LYTIA 700c sensor, validated by Pantone for accurate, true-to-life colour capture.

The full camera setup includes:

  • 50MP main (Sony LYTIA 700C sensor) with OIS
  • 13MP ultra-wide + macro lens
  • 32MP front camera
  • 4K video support on all cameras

Motorola’s new Moto AI Suite is split into three pillars: Capture, Create, and Assist.

Highlighted features include:

  • Catch Me Up – summarises your notifications so you can stay focused.
  • Remember This & Recall – saves, tags, and lets you retrieve photos, notes, or screenshots by asking natural questions.
  • Pay Attention – live transcribes meetings or conversations with speaker ID.
  • AI Magic Canvas – create images using text prompts.
  • Next Move – suggests context-aware actions based on what’s on your screen.
  • Playlist Studio – creates music playlists based on your mood or screen content.
  • Image Studio – generates avatars, stickers, and wallpapers using AI.
  • Durability is another strong suit for the Edge 60 Fusion with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, MIL-STD-810H certification – military-grade toughness, as well as IP68 and IP69 ratings, giving the phone full protection against dust and water.
