Melbourne based developer Route 59 revealed the release date for Necrobarista just a couple of days ago, but it’s out now — if you have an Apple device + Arcade subscription.
In something of a surprise release, the game is available right now for Apple Arcade subscribers. I have it installed as I type this message for you!
You can subscribe to Apple Arcade for one month for $7.99 or claim 30 days free if you haven’t already.
Necrobarista is playable on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.

Back in 2018, I wrote a preview for the game after having played it at PAX AUS 2018:
“Necrobarista looks to be offering a fresh and unique entry into the visual novel genre that can often feel very dull and flooded. The cinematic art-style will make spamming the screenshot button a must and the characters that I briefly met were visually striking and distinctively Australian.”
If Apple devices aren’t your jam you can step into the cafe on July 22nd on PC or wait until 2021 when the game will arrive on Nintendo Switch and PS4.
