July movies are starting off with laughs and a goodbye with the release of Jackass: Best and Last. Not to be the only event movie released in July, however, with several big events taking place this month.
Those other inclusions are The Odyssey, Christopher Nolan’s next massive, fully IMAX-filmed project, as well as Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is being released at the end of the month. There’s also a brand-new terror in Evil Dead Burn, being released in July.
Here are all the new films coming to Australian cinemas in July 2026.
JULY 2
Jackass: Best and Last
Johnny Knoxville and the gang return for one final fling at the big screen. Featuring all-new stunts and stupidity along with the greatest hits and biggest laughs from the past, Jackass: Best and Last is a joyously raucous celebration of all the mischievous camaraderie that you’ve come to love and expect from these idiots over the past 25 years. Follows a man accused of executing a bank heist who gets battered and bruised for the alleged crime.

Moana
Live-action adaptation of the 2016 Disney animated film ‘Moana.’
Evil Dead Burn

After the loss of her husband, a woman seeks solace with her in-laws in their secluded family home. The Invite
A middle-aged couple who are feeling stagnant in their relationship invite the younger and livelier couple from the apartment upstairs for a get-together that takes an unexpected turn.

JULY 24

Spider-Man: Brand New Day
