Xbox has announced a new colour for the Xbox Wireless Controller that will be available to pre-order alongside the Xbox Series X & Xbox Series S today.
The new colour is ‘Shock Blue’ which features a very vibrant front-facing blue with a white back to the case.
This colour joins the ‘Carbon Black’ that was shown off alongside the Xbox Series X and the ‘Robot White’ that was recently seen beside the Xbox Series S as the new line of Xbox Wireless Controllers.
The most notable change with the new controller is the Share button on the front of the controller to allow you to easily capture and share gameplay.
Alongside the new controller colour, Xbox has also announced the Xbox Rechargeable Battery + USB-C Cable today. This rechargeable battery will fully charge in under four hours via the USB-C cable.
Xbox has also announced that the PC controller bundle will now include the Carbon Black controller and be available in two choices. The Xbox Wireless Controller + Wireless Adaptor or Xbox Wireless Controller + USB-C Cable.
Australian pricing for the new controllers wasn’t available as of writing, but via the Xbox Blog Post, they stated they’d be the same starting price as the previous controller. Which would put them around $94.95 AUD.
These controllers will be available to preorder alongside the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S starting from today at 8 AM AEST.
