Dirt 5 Takes The Franchise In A Bright & Beautiful Direction

Although you’d be forgiven for thinking it was a Forza trailer, we got the reveal of a brand new Dirt game during the Xbox Series X Inside Xbox event early Friday morning.
The game looks beautiful and the Forza-ness of it was the colourful and bright locations and cars. It looks fun. Not the realism that we’re used to seeing from the series.
Interestingly the hero of this story is being played by Troy Baker and the arch-nemesis… yep, it’s Nolan North. Because of course, it is.
Dirt 5’s trailer was all captured in-game as well which adds to the beauty of the whole thing. Check it out below.
On-top of the reveal trailer there’s a short conversation with Dirt 5 Director, Robert Karp in-which he talks about the most exciting features coming to the game.
Overall it really sounds like they’re trying something new with the franchise would be interesting to see.
Dirt 5 will feature the option of 120FPS or 4K/60. The game will also use smart delivery.
Dirt 5 is scheduled to release in October 2020 for both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X. Let us know if you’re excited for this one in the comments below.

Dirt 5 has been confirmed for PS4, PS5 and PC via Steam. A Google Stadia version is also coming in 2021.
