After what seems to have been years working on the long-stalled Borderlands movie, Eli Roth has said, “screw it”, and made his 2007 faux trailer for Grindhouse into a full feature.

Joining the ranks of Machete and Hobo with a Shotgun, Eli Roth is bringing his once-fake movie trailer for Thanksgiving from the 2007 double feature Grindhouse to life.

Here’s the original trailer, as seen in the Grindhouse intermission.

The new trailer is slightly different from the original, as it’s dropped the grindhouse feeling and opted for a more modern slasher look and feel. Nonetheless, it looks like it could be following along the lines of classic holiday-themed slashed like Black Christmas and My Bloody Valentine.

Thanksgiving stars TikTok celebrity Addison Rae and Grey’s Anatomy lead Patrick Dempsey alongside Jalen Thomas Brooks, Nell Verlaque, Milo Manheim, Gin Gershon, Tim Dillon, and Rick Hoffman.
