Sony Releases First Trailer for NBA-Inspired Animated Film GOAT
Check out the first trailer for GOAT, from the studio that brought us Into the Spider-Verse
The team at Sony Pictures Animation has released a trailer for GOAT, a basketball film set within an all-animal world. It features some NBA talent, and the film is also being co-produced by Stephen Curry.
GOAT follows Will, a small goat who dreams of being a big-time basketball, sorry, roarball player. You see, in this world, while you may see a game that looks like basketball, roarball is a full-contact sport, which is played by big animals like rhinos.
Check out the debut trailer for GOAT below.
The film is being directed by Tyree Dillihay and stars Caleb McLaughlin, Gabrielle Union, Stephen Curry, Nicola Coughlan, Nick Kroll, David Harbour, Jenifer Lewis, Aaron Pierre, Patton Oswalt, Andrew Santino, Bobby Lee, Eduardo Franco, Sherry Cola, Jelly Roll and Jennifer Hudson.
GOAT will release in cinemas on February 12, 2026.
