The first of Xbox’s 20/20 events were focused on third-party games coming to Xbox Series X.
Here’s everything that was revealed.
Bright Memory Infinite
Bright Memory Inifinite has been revealed as one of the games coming to Xbox Series X. It features stunning graphics and a ridiculous mix of genres.
Dirt 5
Although you’d be forgiven for thinking it was a Forza trailer, we got the reveal of a brand new Dirt game during the Xbox Series X Inside Xbox event early Friday morning.
Scorn
One trailer in Friday mornings Inside Xbox made all the Death Stranding trailers we ever got look pretty normal, and that was Scorn.
Chorus
Chorus looks great in its trailer, but it’s certainly going to need to talk about its logo. It looks like it spells ‘Chorvs’ and that’s exactly what I wrote in my notes.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2
Our best look at Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is here and the game looks like everything fans of the franchise would be after.
Call of The Sea
Fans of The Witness and Firewatch should be excited for Call of the Sea, which revealed this morning in the Inside Xbox event.
The Ascent
Several of the games shown during Inside Xbox’s first big Xbox Series X event Friday morning were from small indie developers. One of these was the eleven person team at Neon Giant working on The Ascent, a top-down action RPG set in a cyberpunk world – with aliens.
The Medium
In a shocking turn of events, the Patricia Arquette show Medium got a video game announcement during Inside Xbox. I joke. But cmon, we all thought it – how good is that show?
Scarlet Nexus
When the trailer for Scarlet Nexus started rolling during Friday morning’s Inside Xbox I thought it was for some anime I hadn’t heard of. It certainly looked weird, and stylish. But the moment I truly tilted my head in confusion was when a crocodile with what looks like a chain gun inside its mouth begun attacking out protagonist.
Madden NFL 21
Although Xbox is proudly making sure their smart delivery system is front and centre in the Xbox Series X marketing, you may have been confused by Madden NFL 21’s wording during this morning Inside Xbox.
Second Extinction
When the trailer for Second Extinction starts showing dino’s and your first thought is “damn, Turok!” Don’t worry, me too.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon
Ashley Hobley and I have been very excited for Yakuza: Like a Dragon since its reveal. We’ve never played a Yakuza game before. It’s nice to know it’ll be available on more platforms coming into the end of the year as it hits the Xbox One, PC and Xbox Series X.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
If you stayed up until 1 AM Australian time for the promised gameplay reveal of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla I can understand why you’re disappointed. Ending the show on an in-engine trailer really sets the tone for what we can expect “gameplay” to mean coming into the next generation.
