It’s the tenth year of PAX Australia, and it could be shaping up to be a big one in October. PAX Australia has announced Nintendo & Bethesda as the first two major companies to have some presence at this year’s show.
Nintendo will be at PAX Aus this year, hosting the Splatoon 3 AU/NZ Championship for 2023. They’ll also host the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe AU/NZ Champion 2023.
Bethesda has also been confirmed for PAX Aus 2023, though information on what they’ll be doing has yet to be revealed.
Confirmed for the expo floor this year so far are returning faces in Devolver Digital, Audio-Technica, ASUS ROG, Aftershock PC, Cooler Master, HTC VIVE, Corsair, MSI and Crunchyroll. There will also be some new faces in NetEase Games and New Zealand-based Ukiyo Studios.
PAX Australia revealed the winners of the PAX Aus Indie Showcase already, and you can find those games in both the digital and tabletop areas.
In the press release announcing the news, PAX Australia stated there is plenty more to come.
“While this is just a taster, we hope you’re just as, if not more, excited than us to ring in 10 years! With PAX Aus still several weeks away, there is still a lot to be announced about this year’s event, so keep your eyes and ears open for news about guests, new features, schedules, exhibitors, and more.”
