Monster Hunter: Rise will launch on March 26th, 2021 for the Nintendo Switch. There will be a standard edition available for the game with a bunch of pre-order bonuses. Three amiibo were also announced: the Palamute, Magnamalo and Palico.

The second Monster Hunter game announced was Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. It’s a sequel to the 3DS game that released in 2017. The Stories game was developed as a more typical RPG where you play as a “rider” instead of a “hunter” that you play in the core franchise.
It was also revealed that both Monster Hunter: Rise and Monster Huner Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will have some sort of crossover content.
