I didn’t put too much time into the Out of Action demo as it’s a multiplayer FPS, and the demo is only against bots; however, from what I checked out, I can tell it has plenty of potential.
The game features a mid-90s anime art style and has a cyberpunk-inspired soundtrack to pair with it. What’s exciting and has me wanting to keep my eye on it, however, is the fast-paced gunplay and customisation you have for those guns and your load out as a whole. It looks like the developer, Doku Games, is putting a lot of effort into making different play-styles for all types of players workable.
What I will expect to see upon release is plenty of slow-motion dive-rolling kills as the game lets you pounce forward and sideways like you would in Max Payne. However, there’s no slow-motion in the game, which could make it unfair for a competitive shooter.
You can check out the demo for yourself now by heading over to the game’s Steam Page.
