PixelByte Controller Combines Blind-Box Collectibles With A Tiny Bluetooth Gamepad

Drakong has revealed the PixelByte Controller, a tiny, fully functional gamepad launching with a collection based on Attack on Titan.

Described as the world’s first surprise-box collectible controller range, PixelByte aims to combine people’s love of blind-box collectibles with a Bluetooth game controller small enough to attach to a bag, belt loop, or keys via its integrated loop. The first collection features seven officially licensed Attack on Titan designs, with each blind box containing one of the available controllers.

The PixelByte isn’t just intended to sit on a shelf. The controller supports iOS, Android, PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Linux-based devices via Bluetooth.

PixelByte also includes a Productivity Mode that transforms the controller into a small mouse-and-keyboard-style remote. Drakong says it can control presentation slides, remotely trigger a smartphone camera, and access PC hotkeys.

“The PixelByte Controller is a new concept in collectible hardware from Drakong, the first in the world to be sold under a traditional Blindbox format,” Lead Product Developer Slade Dude Suzuki said.

“Designed for collectors, gamers and everyone who values instant gaming on the go, the PixelByte packs a serious punch into an impressively small size.”

The Attack on Titan PixelByte Controller collection is available to pre-order now, though Drakong hasn’t provided Australian pricing or local availability in the announcement.
