The PlayStation Portal will receive a software update tomorrow that adds much-requested features and some more quality-of-life features.
One issue users, including myself, have run into while using the PlayStation Portal is that you can’t connect to public wi-fi channels like ones at hotels, which is now being fixed with this update.

With this update, you’ll now receive a pop-up, as seen above, that’ll allow you to finish a sign-in process for public wi-fi connections on your mobile phones.
Other small updates include visual feedback for the touch-screen areas that makes them easier to see, and you can now display the battery level in a percentage.
PlayStation has said that the PlayStation Portal has outperformed their own expectations, so it’s good to see them showing support to the handheld by bringing updates like this to add features and change things that fans have been requesting.
