PlayStation Reveals New Pulse & Pulse Edge Wireless Headsets
PlayStation has revealed new Pulse and Pulse Edge wireless headsets
Sony and PlayStation have revealed its latest generation of PlayStation headsets, with the new PlayStation Pulse Wireless Headset arriving later this year and a more premium Pulse Edge Wireless Headset following in early 2027.
Both headsets build on the technology used in the Pulse Elite, including planar magnetic drivers and PlayStation Link support.
Both models include integrated microphones with AI-enhanced noise rejection, built-in volume controls, and redesigned rotating earcups that can lay flat when not in use. They’ll be available in both White and Midnight Black.

The Pulse Edge, when it releases next year, will feature deeper bass thanks to the right magnets used in each of the drivers compared to the four in the basic Pulse headsets, and the headset will also use active noise cancelling to help the headset sound better even if you’re playing in a room full of noise.
The standard PlayStation Pulse Wireless Headset will begin shipping this holiday season, while the Edge is set to release sometime in early 2027.
