Sony Interactive Entertainment has released the most downloaded games on the PlayStation Store for PS5, PS5 and PSVR for 2022 lists.

It’s not surprising to see games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II or FIFA 23 leading the charts in different territories, but seeing Grand Theft Auto V drop out of the top 5 has shaken me to my core. How are the team at Rockstar Games feeling? Of course, sarcasm, Grand Theft Auto V has been bought by everyone at this stage. That’s only while looking at the PS5 charts; however, the second you look at the PS4 charts, GTA V is back in second place for both the US and the EU.

Looking at PSVR games, there’s no surprise in the most downloaded game: Beat Saber. To be fair, there’s little competition in this list. Nearly every game in this list was released years ago, and it just shows how stale the PSVR had become. Even Moss II, a new release, could crack the charts for either territory.

As far as free-to-play games go, I was legitimately shocked to find that Fall Guys led in both the US and EU, and it wasn’t either Fortnite or Call of Duty: Warzone. Seeing MultiVersus in the fourth position for both territories has only got to be a good sign for the future of that gam
