Pokémon Champions has received a rough release window for Nintendo Switch, while the mobile version is still at a “coming in 2026” stage.
During this morning’s Pokémon Presents for Pokémon Day, it was revealed that Pokémon Champions would launch on Nintendo Switch in April. This will give trainers about 3 months to get used to the game as it’ll be used, and to replace Scarlet/Violet as the key Pokémon game for tournaments during this year’s Pokémon World Championships, which are being held in August.
There was also some crossover between Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Pokémon Home and Pokemoon Champions revealed. When the game releases, trading in some Pokémon to or from Home to Legends: Z-A.
“Trainers can also claim additional rewards in Pokémon Champions, such as a Chesnaughtite stone, Delphoxite stone and Greninjite stone, by transferring these Mega Stones’ corresponding Pokémon that were originally obtained in Pokémon Legends: Z-A into Pokémon HOME.”
Trainers who download the game before a “certain date” will also be able to claim a Dragonite in the in-game mailbox for Pokémon Champions at launch.
