The release date for Pokémon Pokopia has been revealed as March 5, 2026.

The news about Pokémon Pokopia was revealed on the official Pokémon X account this morning.

In the game, you, as a Ditto pretending to be a human, and also using its transform move to use other Pokémon abilities to build up an island ala Animal Crossing-lite, will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 5 next year.

The internet seems to hate Game Key Cards collectively; however, thanks to a “using game-key cards on Nintendo Switch 2” video, it’s also been confirmed that Pokémon Pokopia will use them. If you don’t know what Game Key Cards are, they’re basically just physical download cards; there is no actual game on the card.
