Pokémon Trading Card Game launches with 10 Million downloads

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket is a success. The Pokemon Company announced that the game surpassed 10 million downloads in its first 48 hours.

For anyone missing the quick-pitch on those games: it’s a free game in which you can open packs daily, and these cards are specific for PTCGP, and you can battle with them in a simpler version of the Pokemon Trading Card Game rules. Of course, there are ways to spend money to open packs, but you can open a couple daily for free.

It’ll be interesting to see if these numbers grow, as Pokemon mobile games tend to have a massive influx followed by a drop-off soon after.
