A new trailer for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shinning Pearl showcased the updated visuals, vibrant world and classic gameplay that trainers can look forward to playing this November.
Grand Underground lets you dig up fossils, create your base and explore Pokemon Hideaways, which are new to these versions of the game. The Pokémon that explore these areas are based on the statues you’d place in your base. Another new feature is the ability to change your outfit in the game. You can also choose which, if any, Pokémon follows you around in the game.
Pokémon Dialga & Palkia Edition Nintendo Switch Lite was also revealed and will be released on November 5.

A brand new trailer introduced the action/RPG gameplay of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and it looked amazing. Unlike the first trailer, we get a look at many Pokémon, the town, the types of people that inhabit this world. Pokémon are getting zapped by bad lighting and going mad.
The gameplay kind of looks like a mix between Pokémon, Monster Hunter and, of course, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Exploring the world, you attempt to complete survey work to advance the Pokedex you’re creating. If you enter battles, you can switch the battle forms of your Pokémon to get an advanced attack, defence or speed tactics.
There are some new Pokémon or region-specific, including a Wyrdeer, the evolved form of Stantler and Basculegion, which is the evolved form of Basculin if it eats the souls of other Basculin, or something terrible sounding like that. And then there are some region-specific versions of Pokémon like Hisuian Growlithe, which looks cute and has a beard.
Pokémon Home
Support for both Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shinning Pearl is coming in 2022.
Ranked battles for the future of Pokémon competition will still be taking place in Pokémon Sword & Shield.
That’s everything announced during the Pokémon Showcase. If you’d like to watch the event in full, it’s right below.
