We have our first look at the Prime Video series based on the last two God of War video games. The photo shows Ryan Hurst as Kratos and Callum Vinson as Atreus in the series.
The photo, as seen below, shows Kratos watching Atreus load his bow and arrows. Although the young Atreus looks perfectly fine, there’s something a little off about the look of Kratos, and if this hadn’t been officially released, I would have assumed it was an AI-created fan-requested creation. Of course, it could all look better in motion and with some more post-production effort.

Amazon has already ordered two seasons of God of War, so they’re expecting, or hoping, that the series will be a hit with game fans and not alike.
Alongside Hurst and Vinson in the cast announced so far are Mandy Patinkin as Odin, Ed Skrein as Baldur, Max Parker as Heimdall, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Thor, Teresa Palmer as Sif, Alastair Duncan as Mimir, Jeff Gulka as Sindri, and Danny Woodburn as Brok. The one key member of the story in the games who hasn’t yet been revealed is Freya.
