Prime Video has released the first images from Carrie, Mike Flanagan’s upcoming television adaptation of Stephen King’s iconic horror novel.
The upcoming series will consist of eight episodes and stream exclusively on Prime Video later in 2026. Flanagan is serving as showrunner, writer and executive producer, while also directing four of the eight episodes.
But this isn’t just another version of the Carrie story you may have seen or read before; it’ll instead reimagine Carrie in the social media era, which is rather fitting for the narrative and themes it already tackled.
Summer Howell stars as Carrie, while Samantha Sloyan plays her overprotective mother, Margaret.
