Proto Man Revealed As Playable Character In Mega Man: Dual Override
Proto Man and Mega Man amiibo figures will release alongside the game
Capcom has revealed Proto Man as the second playable character in Mega Man: Dual Override, showing his gameplay for the first time during the most recent Nintendo Direct.
Unlike Mega Man’s focus on ranged attacks, Proto Man centres on close-range combat. A heat gauge balances his abilities, and you will need to manage it during battles.
Capcom also revealed new Mega Man and Proto Man amiibo figures, which will release alongside the game. Details about their in-game functionality will be announced later.
Mega Man: Dual Override launches in 2027 for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
