We finally got the price for the PS5 alongside the reveal of some massive games and follow up trailers on PS5 exclusive we already knew about. The PS5 Showcase was pretty massive.
Here’s everything that was announced or show off during the PS5 Showcase.
Final Fantasy XVI
The Final Fantasy franchise is returning to its roots with a fantasy theme with crystals, magic, European kingdoms inspiration and, of course, Chocobos.
With the tagline “the legacy of the crystal has shaped out history for long,” there are many questions still to be answered.
The game is a console exclusive for PS5 and will also come to PC.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
We got a fresh look at Miles’ special abilities and what makes him unique as a Spider-Man.
The trailer introduced The Tinkerer and their forces who are after some powerful crystal or something. Either way, it’s a very pretty display of colours and smooth Spider-Man gameplay.
Holiday 2020 release date. Maybe they’re still not sure if they can hit launch at Insomniac.
Hogwarts: Legacy
After gameplay leaks and plenty of rumours, Avalanche and Portkey Games Hogwarts RPG has finally been revealed.
The game is set during the later 1800s and the trailer features wizards, trolls and Death Eaters?
It’s coming in 2021 and hopefully, J.K Rowling has sold her rights to the franchise to someone who doesn’t suck by then.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
A fresh look at the next Call of Duty with single-player gameplay featuring a plane chase sequence that could have been out of a Fast & Furious film.
A multiplayer alpha is also arriving on PS4 exclusively this Friday.
The game is coming this Holiday season.
