Psychological thriller The Deceived is a brand new series from Derry Girls creator, Lisa McGee and today Stan has revealed that it’ll be streaming on their platform on August 4th.
In the series, an English student named Ophelia who falls in love with her married lecturer. All seems well in the marital affair until a shocking death sends her world into chaos and leaves Ophelia feeling like she can no longer trust anyone around her.
The four-episode series was filmed in North Ireland and Cambridge and the trailer features some beautiful local scenery for this thrilling story.
The trailer shows who dies and sets up the thrilling story, but if you’d rather go in without knowing, I dong blame you.
