Quake is celebrating its 30th Anniversary with a brand-new episode, ‘Dawn of the Machine,’ available now as a free update for existing owners of the game.
Announced by MachineGames and id Software during the QuakeCon welcome stream, Dawn of the Machine adds 19 new maps as part of a new campaign that builds on MachineGames‘ previous Dimension of the Machine and Dimension of the Past episodes.

Dawn of the Machine also includes a new soundtrack, episode hub, hidden secrets, an additional deathmatch map and three new achievements on supported platforms.
The update is available now for Quake on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
