Quibi has had an interesting launch as a streaming service. Its initial pitch seemed to be for people on-the-go and as such, it’s programming is all 10-minutes or less and only able to be viewed on your mobile phone. Given most of us are self-quarantining at the moment, this mobile-only restriction has come to annoy many and I know myself, and others at Explosion Network would be keen to watch these programs on our TV’s.
Good news! TV-casting is coming soon. As reported by Variety, the ability to TV-cast will apparently be arriving sometime in May, but no other details are available just yet. We would assume the main casting options like Google-Cast and Apple Air-Play would be available, but we’ll find out soon.
Of course, the services magical feature of being able to switch between portrait and landscape viewing probably won’t make the cut when you TV-cast a show… or will it?
We’ve posted a handful of Quibi reviews so far, which you can view below:
Let us know in the comments below if you’ll be more likely to watch a Quibi show if you can cast it to your TV, or if it makes no difference.

I’ll admit, I didn’t have as much of a negative impression on Quibi as a service as most did when I learnt about it. The trailer for Most Dangerous Game, a ‘film-in-parts’ had me gripped from the outset.
