Developer Exkee has announced a new immersive sim, Rescue Ops: Wildfire, in which you play as a firefighter.
The game features realistic and unpredictable wildfires, and you can use a fleet of authentic vehicles to tackle a fire. You’ll be making all of the decisions from the moment the call comes in, to your head out to take on the fire with your team.
The game will have a sandbox mode and a campaign, which you can tackle solo or with a squad of 2-4 players. You’ll need the help of friends if you’re to take on some of the fires that react to wind strength, and they can spread in seconds if you’re not careful, much like real wildfires.
Check out the reveal trailer for Rescue Ops: Wildfire below:
-
Fight to control massive dynamic wildfires and determine the best strategies in Campaign and Sandbox mode, alone or with players worldwide.
-
Operate a fleet of ground and aerial firefighting vehicles, including fire engines and helicopters.
-
Call in tactical support to gain the upper hand: deploy water bombers, have a water supply delivered, or ask for ground support to establish an attack or defence line.
-
Gear up with cutting-edge equipment, developed with the support and expertise of professional firefighters.
-
Charge into maps inspired by the world’s wildest regions, each with unique terrain and challenges.
In Rescue Ops: Wildfire, you’ll experience what it’s like to be a brave firefighter who fights the ongoing blazes around the world caused by the growing concerns of climate change.
Rescue Ops: Wildfire will launch in Early Access later this year on Steam, Xbox and PC.
