After being rumoured for the past couple weeks we finally know that Resident Evil 3 Remake is coming and it’s very soon, just around the corner in fact on April 3rd, 2020.

The trailer that revealed the game was a huge twist. During this morning’s State of Play, the trailer started as a ‘Project Resistenct’ trailer, the game we have known about for some time now as a multiplayer Resident Evil spin-off title. But the trailer switches gears quickly when you realise it’s not actually that game you’re watching. Instead, it appears that to reveal that the RE3 remake will be a first-person game as we see Jill running through a burning building in the trailer.

The trailer ends with the announcement of the release date and also that the game will come packaged with the co-op four-v-one multiplayer game Resident Evil Resistance.
