ASUS ROG has announced the ROG XBOX Ally X20, a special edition handheld gaming PC launching as part of the brand’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
The new handheld features a translucent chassis and a unique look, along with several hardware upgrades over previous Ally models.
One of the biggest additions is a new 7.4-inch OLED ROG Nebula HDR Display, marking the first time an OLED panel has been used in the Ally lineup.

The ROG XBOX Ally X20 is powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor alongside 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB SSD.
The handheld also includes a redesigned “Transforming D-Pad,” allowing players to switch between four-way and eight-way directional inputs depending on the game and what works best for their playstyle.
The ROG XBOX Ally X20 will also be bundled with the ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses; the glasses connect directly to the Ally using a single USB-C cable.
ASUS ROG is yet to announce any Australian pricing or release details. But let me know in the comments section below if you’d be keen to pick up this special edition.
