A new action-comedy starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt may be one of 2024’s most anticipated movies.

Based upon the 1980s series of the same name, this bare-bones adaptation takes the premise of The Fall Guy and runs with it. Gosling stars as the past-his-prime stuntman, Colt Seavers, who ends up on a wild goose chase when Emily Blunt’s character — the director of the film he’s working on — sends him to find Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s character, Tom Ryder, the lead actor of the film they’re working on. Add action scenes and wild antics to follow.

Synopsis:
Colt Seavers is a stuntman who left the business a year earlier to focus on both his physical and mental health. He’s drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movie, which is being directed by his ex, goes missing.
