Samsung Galaxy SmartTag3 Coming to Australia in 2027 with iOS Support

Samsung has revealed the Galaxy SmartTag3, featuring iOS support, a smaller design and improved tracking range ahead of its Australian launch in 2027

Samsung has revealed the Galaxy SmartTag3, the latest version of its Bluetooth tracker, which will launch in Australia in 2027.

The biggest change is support for iOS devices through SmartThings Find, though some features remain exclusive to Galaxy devices. Samsung has also made the SmartTag3 smaller and lighter than its predecessor.

The finding range has also improved, with Compass View now working from up to 60 metres away on supported Galaxy devices before UWB takes over for more precise tracking at closer distances.

The Galaxy SmartTag3 will be available in Black and White when it launches in Australia sometime in 2027. Australian pricing hasn’t been announced.

If you’re happy to grab a SmartTag2, they’ve been on sale a lot on Amazon, and I presume they’ll stay on sale in the lead-up to the SmartTag3’s release.
