Samsung has announced the Galaxy A27 5G, its latest mid-range smartphone, bringing a larger display, upgraded performance and expanded AI features to Australia’s Galaxy A series lineup.
Launching on July 3 for $499 AUD, the Galaxy A27 5G builds on last year’s Galaxy A26 5G with a refreshed design, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and six years of Android and security updates.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with support for microSD cards up to 2TB. Samsung says the upgraded processor delivers smoother gaming, improved multitasking and better overall efficiency.
On the camera front, the Galaxy A27 5G includes a 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilisation, alongside a 5MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro camera and an upgraded 12MP selfie camera. A 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging rounds out the hardware.
