Samsung Australia has announced its latest range of ‘Odyssey’ gaming monitors alongside a new ViewFinity S8 display, which is headlined by what the company is calling “the world’s first 6K gaming monitor.”

Leading the lineup is the 32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS), which features a 6K resolution display running at 165Hz. It also supports Samsung’s Dual Mode technology, allowing players to switch to 3K at up to 330Hz for competitive gaming.

Samsung is also introducing a 27-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HF), which offers 5K resolution at 180Hz or QHD at up to 360Hz using Dual Mode.

The refreshed Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SH) comes in both 27-inch and 32-inch models and features a 4K OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate. Samsung says the display includes its Glare Free technology and the latest QD-OLED Penta Tandem panel technology for improved brightness and efficiency.

Then there’s the new 32-inch Odyssey OLED G7, which aims to make OLED gaming more accessible. It features a 4K OLED panel running at 165Hz, with Dual Mode enabling up to 330Hz at Full HD.

All Odyssey G8 models support DisplayPort 2.1, AMD FreeSync Premium, and NVIDIA G-Sync.

And finally, aimed at creators and professionals, Samsung is launching the 40-inch ViewFinity S8 (S85TH), which features a curved 5K2K WUHD display and a 144Hz refresh rate. It also includes Thunderbolt 5 connectivity with up to 80Gbps transfer speeds and 140W charging.
