Samsung Reveals 2027 Odyssey Gaming Monitors With Up To 1,100Hz Refresh Rate

Samsung has revealed its 2027 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup at Gamescom 2026, including new OLED displays and a monitor capable of reaching a massive 1,100Hz refresh rate. What will you do with that much refresh rate?! I’m not sure.

Leading the new range is the Odyssey OLED G9, Samsung’s first 49-inch DQHD gaming monitor with a 360Hz refresh rate. The ultrawide display runs at 5120 x 1440 and can switch to Dual HD at up to 720Hz through its Dual Mode.

The Odyssey OLED G8 is a 32-inch 4K display offering three resolution and refresh-rate combinations: UHD at 360Hz, QHD at 520Hz or FHD at 680Hz. Meanwhile, the new Odyssey OLED G7 is Samsung’s first 42-inch 16:9 curved OLED gaming monitor, featuring a 1000R curve, 4K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate.

For competitive players, the 27-inch Odyssey G6 speeds things up. Samsung says its new Fast IPS monitor can reach up to 1,100Hz at HD resolution or 600Hz at QHD through Dual Mode.

Samsung is also expanding HDR10+ GAMING support, with plans to support more than 20 AAA titles by the first half of 2027. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is among the upcoming supported games, and Samsung continues to expand game support for its glasses-free Odyssey 3D displays.
