A second season of The Santa Clauses is right around the corner. Disney+ has released the first official trailer for the follow-up to last year’s Christmas hit that saw the Calvin family fighting to protect Christmas together. 

In the second season, the Calvin family will come up against Magnus Anta, also known as the “Mad Santa,” who is played by Eric Stonestreet. He says that the “Santa who sits in the North Pole right now is a fraud!” And so wants to remove Scott Calin as Santa Clause, and, of course, his family too.

It seems the family dynamic will continue to grow this season, too, with Scott not settling into making the Christmas business a family one following the events of the first season. Cal (Austin Kane) is now a Santa-in-training, and Sandra (Elizabeth Allen-Dick) has got her dream job of looking after the reindeer.
