Waypoint has revealed the first group of speakers for Waypoint Constellations 2026, with the annual Sydney games showcase bringing together developers from across Australia’s games industry when it heads to the Sydney Opera House this October.

Among the headline speakers is Gregory Louden, Creative Director of SAROS at Housemarque. Louden previously worked on Returnal, Control, Quantum Break, and Australian indie titles STONE and BURN, bringing experience spanning visual effects, AAA development and independent games.

The event will also feature presentations from developers, artists and creators working across a wide range of Australian games and experimental projects.

Waypoint describes Constellations as “a love letter to Sydney’s game development community”, with talks focused on the stories behind locally developed games alongside playable showcases featuring projects from New South Wales developers. Featured games are still to be announced.

The event takes place on October 13, 2026 at the Sydney Opera House. Tickets are available now, with more announcements to be revealed over the coming months.
