Scott-Pilgrim-Rerelease-Rumour-Thumb.jpg

Fans have been clamouring for a re-release or even a port of the much loved Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game for a long time. There’s been a couple of signs or hints at possible things stirring behind the scenes, but the latest clue provides hope of something solid soon.

As spotted by DualShockers, the composers of the original game, Anamanuguchi tweeted a picture of what appears to be a cropped physical version of the game but has been found to be a fan-made mock-up. The tweet simply read “it’s me.”

The tweet has since been deleted, which is always going to add more fuel to the rumour fire than take it away, even if the picture was a fake.

Whether the image shared was that of a real physical copy or a mock-up isn’t really the point here and fans will, I’m sure, gravitate to asking why the tweet was made in the first place.

With both the game and the Scott Pilgrim movie having their 10 year anniversary later this year, it sure would be a nice time to do a re-release. Ubisoft has their Ubisoft Forward event this coming Monday, so maybe we’ll see something there.
