Are there any after-credits scenes in Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings?

There are NO SPOILERS in this article. I’m here only to tell you how many after-credits scenes there are and if they’re worth hanging around to watch in the cinema.

HOW MANY AFTER-CREDITS SCENES DOES SHANG-CHI: AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS CONTAIN? 

Unlike Black Widow, the after-credits scenes in Shang-Chi return to the usual formula. There’s one in the middle after the big title sequence, and then there’s another right at the end of the main credits.

ARE THEY IMPORTANT SCENES? 

The first scene comes after the flashy title credits sequence, and it teases several things for the future, along with something we may not have seen happens yet. It’s a rather serious scene with a lot of brooding faces and a “this is your legacy now” undertone, but it also ends on a moment that sent my cinema into abrupt and loud laughter. 

The second scene comes at the end of the credits sequence, and it’s a bit more important than the past few Marvel entries where this slot has been saved for a comedic moment. If I had to guess, I’d say this scene could be setting up a future Disney+ series entry, and I’d be perfectly okay with that.
